When we get triggered in present time it is a young child part of you that is being triggered. You may have witnessed or heard something as a young child and part of you fragmented and got stuck at that age and time. Whenever someone is excluded in a system someone in a later generation will repeat the fate and pattern of that missing person. For example when a parent leaves, divorce, dies a child will usually step in unconsciously out of love and loyalty to the parent that left and the parent that stayed.
